David Farmer
Farmer Dave, as he's affectionately known below the equator, has been designing kick-ass sound effects for 20 years and his credit list includes massive blockbusters like The Lord of the Rings, The Incredible Hulk, King Kong, Cowboys & Aliens and The Hobbit trilogy.
Dave is always on the lookout for new tech to speed his workflow or give him new creative options for sound design, so of course he's a huge fan of the Cargo Cult tools.
He's one of those people who insists on having a Spanner inserted on every channel and can always produce a long list of unfulfilled feature requests for our products.
He graciously offered us some time in front of the camera to discuss his point-of-view on sound design and technology.
